Nitsch Elementary Students and Teacher Honored at Board Meeting

Two students and a teacher from Nitsch Elementary were honored at the November Board of Trustees meeting for their hard work and talent in the classroom.

Fourth-grade language arts teacher Felecia Rogers embodies the Klein ISD Promise2Purpose shared vision by being student-focused and relationship-driven. Not only does Ms. Rogers dedicate her time to students, but she is also a lead mentor for new and returning teachers.

“Ms. Rogers has extensive knowledge of all of the curriculum, and her willingness to share her knowledge goes above and beyond any that I have seen before,” Nitsch Principal Frank Ward said.

Camila Mata is an outstanding student at Nitsch Elementary. She is goal-oriented problem solver who is always ready to learn. Her blend of intelligence and kind-heartedness are an inspiration.

“Camila is a natural leader and helps her classmates think outside the box when she’s working with them,” Teacher Sonia Almaguer said.

David Nguyen is passionate about reading, writing, and learning. He is a hardworking and disciplined student. His drive toward his academics constantly motivates his peers.

“David’s commitment to school makes him a role model for other students, and I have no doubt that he will accomplish great things in his future,” Teacher Tarsha Gilbert said.

Congratulations again to Mrs. Rogers, Camila, and David for being noble Knights. Your hard work and dedication truly make our community shine and exemplify leadership to our Klein Family.
