New Principal Announcement

Dear Nitsch Family,

I hope this letter finds you well as we near the last few days of school. 

It is with many emotions that I share with you that I have been appointed as the new principal of Klenk Elementary. Although I am very excited to take on the new challenge of leading this school in our district, I am also sad to leave Nitsch Elementary’s wonderful students, staff, families, and this supportive school community. This new assignment in my career brings Nitsch Elementary a promising future with its next school leader.

I am honored to announce that our Dean of Instruction, Mr. Leonard Castleberry, has been selected as the new Nitsch Elementary Principal. As a former student of Nitsch, Klein Intermediate, and Klein Forest, Mr. Castleberry has lived the experiences of our students and knows the great potential within them. As an administrator, he’s exceptional by any standard, and as a role model, he’s phenomenal.

Mr. Castleberry is honored to continue serving our amazing school community as your new principal for the 2025-26 school year. His talent for analytical thinking and compassion for others are a perfect combination that fully demonstrates his wholehearted investment in the school and, most importantly, the lives of our students.

Please help me congratulate Mr. Castleberry as the new Nitsch Elementary principal. He will begin communicating directly with our school community beginning this summer. Please stop by and extend your congratulations to him. 

It has been a true honor and joy to be your principal for these past 6 years. Thank you for all the support you have extended to me during my time at Nitsch Elementary. You will be in excellent hands with Mr. Castleberry as your new leader. Have a safe and restful summer.

Espero que esta carta los encuentre bien mientras nos acercamos a los últimos días del ciclo escolar.

Con muchas emociones les comparto que he sido nombrado como el nuevo director de Klenk Elementary. Aunque estoy muy emocionado por asumir este nuevo reto de liderar otra escuela en nuestro distrito, también me entristece despedirme de los maravillosos estudiantes, el personal, las familias y esta comunidad escolar tan solidaria de Nitsch Elementary. Esta nueva etapa en mi carrera representa un futuro prometedor para Nitsch Elementary con su próximo líder escolar.

Me honra anunciar que nuestro Coordinador Académico, el Sr. Leonard Castleberry, ha sido seleccionado como el nuevo director de Nitsch Elementary. Como exalumno de Nitsch, Klein Intermediate y Klein Forest, el Sr. Castleberry ha vivido las experiencias de nuestros estudiantes y conoce el gran potencial que hay en cada uno de ellos. Como administrador, es excepcional en todos los sentidos, y como modelo a seguir, es fenomenal.

El Sr. Castleberry se siente honrado de continuar sirviendo a nuestra increíble comunidad escolar como su nuevo director para el ciclo escolar 2025-2026. Su talento para el pensamiento analítico y su compasión por los demás son una combinación perfecta que demuestra su total compromiso con la escuela y, lo más importante, con las vidas de nuestros estudiantes.

Les pido que me acompañen para felicitar al Sr. Castleberry como el nuevo director de Nitsch Elementary. Él comenzará a comunicarse directamente con nuestra comunidad escolar a partir de este verano. No duden en pasar a saludarlo y felicitarlo.

Ha sido un verdadero honor y una gran alegría haber sido su director durante estos últimos 6 años. Gracias por todo el apoyo que me brindaron durante mi tiempo en Nitsch Elementary.
